Joining a Fitness Center

There are many things to consider when you are looking for a place to workout. We recommend the following:

  1. Make sure the facility is convenient. It's a place you'll be going 3-4 days a week.
  2. Visit at the time of day you'll be working out. This will give you an idea of how busy the facility will be.
  3. Check out the atmosphere and the clientele. Some facilities have a higher percentage of college students than others. Make sure you're comfortable.
  4. Ask about personal training. Find out if any sessions are included with your membership.
  5. Look around the facility and try the equipment. It should be clean, easy to use, and in good repair. Newer equipment is almost always better than older equipment.
  6. Studies have shown that working out in a Dome is superior to working out anywhere else!

Pricing Info

Aggieland Fitness Dome makes joining easy. We're not one of those gyms that has a different price every week. We prefer to charge the same rate all the time so there's no need to wait for a "special". On our annual membership, our enrollment fee is just $49.95. To get started, you just pay the enrollment plus the pro-rated amount of the monthly dues for the first remainder of the current month. It's that easy!

Discounts are available if you prefer to pay annually, and we also offer family memberships and a month-to-month option. And every membership comes with up to 6 free personal training sessions (A $175 value). Call us at 690-DOME (3663) for more details.

Membership Cap

Aggieland Fitness Dome is the only area fitness center with a membership cap. This is to guarantee that you'll never have to fight the crowds to get your workout in, regardless of the time of day or week you choose to workout. As of May 2007, we are at about 85% of that capacity.
